2018:

• Started full-fledged operations in Gujarat & Maharashtra

2017:

• Protective Farming division was started in Alpha with only one product – the Mulch film

Saurabh Agarwal - Founder Director:
Saurabh Agarwal graduated from Cardiff University in UK with specialization in Supply Chain Management. He then joined the family business, Alpha Group in 2006. Saurabh is a keen achiever looking to enhance his growth path, and after 3 years of heading Alpha, he decided to expand his network by getting his MBA from SP. Jain Institute of Management with a focus on Family Managed Business (FMB). Saurabh now heads the family business Alpha Plastomers and has been actively working on expanding the plasticulture arm of the business.

Saurabh’s motivation behind Growit is to encourage a sustainable agriculture ecosystem in the country. He has an absolute green thumb and is an avid gardener who loves to grow his own vegetables at home!

Akshay Agarwal - Founder Director:
Akshay Agarwal is a Plastics Engineer with vast experience in petrochemical industry having worked in US for large, multi-billion-dollar company and is now heading the family business, Alpha Plastomers. With his engineering degree from University of Massachusetts, Lowell, and working in petrochemical industry for over 6 years, Akshay has been at the forefront of developing specialized plasticulture products for the Agriculture industry.

Akshay is committed to aligning Growit's vision with the country’s mission of doubling farmer income and empowering the agriculture community with innovative plasticulture products.

Ritesh Tulsyan - Chief Financial Officer:
Ritesh Tulsyan is a Chartered Accountant and has over 11 years of experience in various areas of Assurance services such as managing variety of assignments like statutory audit, tax audit, internal audit and compliance for clients from different sectors With Growit, Ritesh hopes to continue providing his above-mentioned services while helping build a company that supports enhanced productivity and cost-effectiveness farming practices for farmers through their products and services.

Chandrakant - Chief Technology Officer:
Chandrakant is a Bachelor of Computer Application and has over 9 years of well-rounded experience in Business Structuring. He has excelled in Microsoft training specifically in Dynamic and Power Platform from Japan. He has worked for over 6 years with Japanese MNCs.

Rohit Tulsyan - Chief Operating Officer:
Rohit Tulsyan has had a very interesting career trajectory having gotten MBA in Finance and Marketing and starting his career at ICICI Bank. Having gained a few years of experience there, he moved on to work for Edelweiss Capital and was on course to “climbing the ladder” and moving on to managerial positions before Growit came calling.
